Chase A Cloud “Makes Sense”

You might be suspicious that ‘Chase a cloud’ is cooking something special besides all these common advertising works populating our blog lately. And yes, you could not be closer to the truth. We are working in a visionary project called “Makes Sense” and we are so excited about it that just can’t help to share with you some ideas behind the scenes:

Imagine your business. Your business broadcasts messages all the time to its clients, employees, followers, etc. … the community. These messages can be divided in two groups:

  • those you consider as important - product qualities, competitive advantage, brand awareness, company’s image, etc,
  • and all the rest - instructions, product descriptions, manuals, process characteristics, figures, etc.

(following the golden rule this should look something like 20%/80%).

Most of the cases, your business takes the important messages, and transforms it into advertising, reaching the community through various communication channels. Reaching its audience, the advertised messages create awareness, informs people on something you consider is important for your product or service. While this is certainly a good thing, you should ask yourself “What happens next?”. Well, next thing people do is to try to find out more. They start looking for more information. They do that within their immediate environment. This is where the rest of your business’ messages kick in. Well, bad news for you, spending all that money on the primary 20% left your other 80% barely able to make any impression at all. At the time, it seemed ok, but let’s think it over again: you just spend a lot of money exciting people about your ideas, than they come and ask you on the details, and what you deliver is : “Check our hundred-pages brochure…”, “Visit our exhaustively descriptive website…”, “…look at these endless charts and numbers…”. Now, who has time for this crap? I don’t! Certainly you don’t either. Nobody does these days! With the digital power in our hands, the question isn’t “Will I find?”. It is more likely to be “Will I have the time?”. Remember when you read everything on a website lately? Have you ever, ever, read a single “Terms of use” before you click on “I agree” button? No? Well, how you would expect your community to do so then?

This where the “Makes Sense” project was born. It has one simple purpose: to put ugly content in beautiful clothes… to explain things. And what explains better than video? ‘Chase a cloud’ is packing up all the knowledge and experience it has in breathing new life in those neglected messages of yours. We believe that your manuals, reports, presentations, specifications, etc can and should be fun. We also believe that this is going to add enormous value to your customers who are curious, eager to know and passionate about your products, but lack the luxury of time and nerves to walk alone the whole nine yards.

At the end, all your messages are equally important in rounding up a complete experience for your customers.
And they deserve that!
You deserve that!
